Steven is an HR executive who has built his career over the past 23 years. He developed his generalist background in the hotel and restaurant industry with responsibility for training and development, employee relations, quality assurance, performance management, benefit plan design and recruitment.

Steven then changed to the broadcasting industry as head of HR with a multi-state employer and added mergers and acquisitions, organization development, compensation, diversity and compliance programs (EEO and Sarbanes-Oxley).

Most recently, Steven was head of HR for a non-profit that had student fellowship programs and offered education loan solutions. In addition to overseeing the generalist HR duties, he was also responsible for administration, which included leasing and facility management.

Steven graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio,Texas with a BBA – Human Resources, and currently lives in the Washington, DC area. Steven is active in the HR industry with organizations including the Human Resources Leadership Forum (HRLF), HRLF’s Non-Profit HR Leaders and SHRM. He regularly participates in panels discussing diversity, compensation, HR Audits and business culture.
